Two persons murdered near dhaba
Hyderabad: Two persons were found murdered by unidentified persons near Medchal on Saturday. The victims Ankush, 45, along with DCM driver Tirupati, 25, both from Metpalli of Karimnagar, were brutally murdered by unknown persons and Rs 4.75 Lakh in their possession was reported to be missing. According to police, both the deceased were on their way to Hyderabad to buy oil at Sheetal Oil Company near Gagan Pahad. They stopped their vehicle near a Dhaba at Kandlakoya of Medchal to have some drink. Over there unidentified persons murdered them by slitting their throats and fled away with the Rs 4.75 lakh cash, which Ankush was carrying to buy oil, said police. The incident came to light when the employer Chatrapathi, owner of Chatrapathi Oil Company, started inquiring about the vehicle, when he found that Ankush and Tirupati had not yet reached the spot and were not in touch with him. Later, while enquiring for them, found their vehicle near Medchal, and seeing both his employees missing, he informed local police. Pet basheerabad police found both of them murdered near to a Dhaba there, and Rs 4.75 lakh cash missing. Police registered the case and clues team was rushed to the spot and started the investigation, said ACP Sayed Rafeeq.
20-yr-old woman commits suicide
Hyderabad: A heart-broken 20-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself in LB Nagar area on Saturday. According to Police, the suicide victim, Lakshmi left a suicide note blaming Krishna for taking this extreme step. Police said that Krishna was forcing her to accept his love and wanted her to ignore her boyfriend Srinivas, whom she really loved. Lakshmi rejected his offer and warned him against approaching her again. Krishna, who is also a cousin of Srinivas, started spreading canards against Lakshmi which created differences between the couple. Since then, Srinivas started ignoring Lakshmi, which hurted her badly. Unable to bear this Lakshmi hanged herself on Saturday noon.
6 dead, 10 injured in road accident
Srikakulam: In a ghastly road accident on Amudalavalasa road in the district, four persons died on the spot, two while undergoing treatment in the hospital. About 10 more persons were critically injured in the accident. A private bus coming from Srikakulam had a head on collision with a Goods truck near Ragolu on Amudalavalasa road. The driver of the bus along with three passengers died on the spot. The injured passengers were shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital in Srikakulam where two passengers died while undergoing the treatment. Another ten passengers ‘s condition is stated to be serious.
